Futbol has captured my interest soooo much over the past few years--many thanks to some of you guys--Joey-MA-Rolltide as well.
Great action in the Euro and I followed the EPL this year.

What comes next this year until EPL starts up

I know the World Cup is in 2010 as my best friend is from South Africa and hopefully ($$) I will be attending...

Euro ends in July..

You'll also be having WC Qualifying in every region, some of which is already starting..

ESPN Soccernet, the official site of the tourney itself.
For on the go score checking livescore is my favourite

I find futbol24.com for scores better than livescore. YOu can pick and choose the leagues and games you want and it gives you a little "ding" every time there is a goal in a game you have up.

soccernet is the best for news and stuff.

about a month of nothing between end of Euro and Euro leagues starting up, though MLS will be playing.

Hopefully you have chosen a team to follow, that makes the games even better and more intense. Nothing better than watching a game with tension for the entire time and no stoppages.

There will friendlies and testimonials during the month of July as well as MLS. The charity shield kicks off the EPL season sometime in mid August.

EPL is dull, follow La Liga or better yet the Brazilian or Argentinian leagues.

Copa Libertadores (Champions League equivalent for South American clubs) two leg final is later this month. Two average sides have navigated themselves to the final somehow but it should still be a good spectacle.
